“Our most popular entry level course and the most recognised diving qualification in the world. You may enrol onto this course without any prior diving experience, or follow straight on from the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience.
The course schedule is conducted as 5 pool sessions, and 4 open water skill sessions, with 5 knowledge development sessions.
During the confined water pool sessions, new skills will be introduced to you that enable you to enjoy and control your diving safely and easily. Once you have practiced and mastered these skills you will perform them in the sea whilst applying them to actual diving scenarios. Between dives you will learn about basic dive theory, equipment, and environmental considerations, through easy to follow dive manuals and prescriptively taught knowledge development sessions.
Following successful completion of the course you will receive a wall certificate and certification card that will allow you to dive anywhere in the world*

*The PADI Open Water Diver rating has a maximum depth restriction of 18m.
